‘Upcycled’ from trees our kids daycare needed taken down
Really something creative and custom for whatever occasion. Kind of my thing—I make stuff that can fill multiple categories and/or serve multiple purposes, especially when gifting.
It’s a nice looking piece if you ask me.
Finish: Hope’s 100% Pure Tung oil (yes it’s food safe…don’t get me started on “food safe” finishes–everything is food safe if it has cured and dry), though this isn’t meant to serve food, it can hold things like fruit and such, liquids would probably find a way through the live edge portions eg., the small knots in the bottom
I can try to laser engrave it if you’d like, no extra charge, but please send me an email at adam@makingshavingz.com so I can work with you on the aesthetics.
